I moved to the area about a year ago and had tried other mechanics in the area. After using green village garage, I'm so happy to say I've finally found &";my mechanic&";.I took my car in about a month ago because my car was making a lot of noise, it ended up being that I needed new bearings. My car is older and this is a natural occurrence. When I first found out I needed new bearings, I was pretty upset because money is tight and this was the first large amount of money I've had to put into my car. After speaking with Pat, I instantly felt at ease. He is seriously the nicest person in the world. He called me a couple times to keep me in the loop with what was going on and explained everything in detail to make sure I understood what was going on. After calling my husband to make sure we could go through with all the repairs, I called the garage back to tell them to go ahead. Pat was busy with something else when I called but then called me right back to make sure I was ok! Being that I've never dealt with fixing my own car (my husband now works really long hours so it is my responsibility) I was really touched that he cared enough to check in with me. Again, he explained everything and made me feel 100% comfortable. The best part, after calling my family member who is a mechanic in another state, he assured me that the price was very fair. At this time, Pat also explained that my brakes would need to be fixed soon (pads and rotors). He didn't pressure me at all and explained I could go an oil change or two before needing them-most mechanics would have pressured me to fix them that day.Fast forward to this week. I was driving and at a stop sign my car stopped and a message about my oil pressure popped up. I freaked out and called GVG. They calmed me down, told me to check oil levels and had me drop it off that night. They easily could have ripped me off, but Pat called me and said it was just a fuse-I was so happy! They are so honest and trustworthy!!I got my brakes fixed while it was there (I had finally put the mileage on it) and they fixed it that day-the day before a holiday! I couldn't believe it! Again, I checked with my mechanic family member and he said their price was beyond fair.GVG is fast, honest, fair and full of smart and kind people. I've told my entire complex to use them and will continue to spread the word. They are the best! Thanks guys!
