I was new to the area and looking for a reliable car repair and chose this place for the good reviews. They certainly are friendly and accommodating but the reason for the poor review is they gave me a quote for repairs they said I needed, over $3000. I was able to get my car checked by another mechanic (in another state) and essentially everything they told me to do was not needed. This garage gave me a type of report card, detailing things that were urgently needed. Come to find they were not needed at all, let alone urgently. Save yourself the money and anxiety and go elsewhere.
Thank you for the review, we always welcome customer input on how we are performing. Of the items we deemed urgent they were safety items such as your front brakes during our last report. The other items were listed as future recommendations. At Green Village Garage we feel that as a vehicle exceeds 100K and by the manufacturer's recommendations, maintenance items such as fluids, spark plugs and shocks have exceeded their usable life. If another shop doesn't share the same opinion, that is their choice in how they want to operate and take care of their customers.
